Historic building and international cooperation
Our after-school care is housed in a beautiful historic building, formerly the domestic school founded by Anna Henriette Philips, wife of Anton Philips. We share this beautiful building with the Dutch branch of the International School of Eindhoven (ISE), which allows us to offer an international environment at BSO Apollo where children are introduced to different cultures, languages and perspectives.
Bilingual pedagogical professionals
The pedagogical professionals at BSO Apollo speak both Dutch and English with the children, allowing them to learn not only about the world around them, but also about themselves and their own identity. This bilingual approach supports the development of language skills and intercultural competencies.
Shared facilities and natural environment
By sharing our premises with the International School, we have access to shared facilities such as the gymnasium and outdoor bicycles, which enriches our learning environment. Moreover, the proximity to the Genneper Parks offers our children the opportunity to explore, play and learn in nature. The natural environment promotes calm, reflection and creativity, and contributes to children's emotional intelligence and resilience.
